About Us

Johnny Gilmore is the head of Hidden Hill Partners' consulting practice.  He is a hands-on corporate executive having worked with many high profile consumer electronics companies in Silicon Valley over the last 25 years.  He is a recognized and popular advisor and subject matter expert for the high tech industry in the areas of manufacturing, supply chain, and channel and customer operations.
 

Among his past roles, Johnny most recently was Chief Operating Officer at Noon Home, the leader in smart home residential lighting controls, acquired by Savant Systems in 2019.  Prior to that, he was Head of Operations at Nest Labs, responsible for building the operations infrastructure to support Nest’s rapid expansion across North America and Europe. Nest was acquired by Google for $3.2B in 2014.  Before Nest, Johnny was GM at Sling Media. During his six years at Sling, the company grew from a small 20-person startup to become the technology leader in the “TV Everywhere” space with a 300 strong team based in California, New York, London and Bangalore. Sling was acquired by Echostar Corporation in 2007.
 

Johnny had previously worked at smartphone device manufacturer Handspring (acquired by Palm in 2004) and prior to that, with Iomega Corporation.  He also spent over 10 years in the strategic and operations consulting practices of Arthur Andersen and Accenture.  He has extensive international experience having worked in the US, Ireland, England, the Netherlands and Australia.
